If, while browsing on deviant art you notice a lot of peoples work is really dark....you might want to calibrate your monitor.  I just viewed my gallery on a pc for the first time and the calibration is not nearly as good as on my mac.  So be sure to try to calibrate your monitor for the internet, set the correct white point and such.  Jst a little tip.  I will see what I can do about changing my profiles to get more accurate tonalities.  Everything looks soo dark!

You know it is a funny thing.... you can love photography with all your heart, and have a passion that won't quit, get tons of fulfillment from it, but no matter what, it seems like every once in a while SOMETHING will get you side tracked!  At least thats how it seems to happen to me.  I think I have found my way of staying in the game for good this time though.  At least I am adding more frequently on Deviant Art though huh?  Please let me know what you think!

Your gallery's great
okie sir
you should upload those pictures from today

and I'll give you back this here jacket :]
alrighty,
so I'm thinking I should talk to you on sunday, being that I don't always have a computer.
But as for the pictures, I definately want to use the Florence one..

more later. :)
your model is a bit static. he's got perfect body, u should make him move. and shot this movement. i dont like his clothes, he looks a bit drolly in track suit. and background is too empty. that's my feelings. i'm only viewer 'en i'm not profesionalist.
Thank you myfeather. I appreciate you giving your critique with a cause and examples for how you feel. It is always better for an artist to get example of what someone does or doesnt like about something, that is true critique, so thank you. I still disagree with you and this is why. This shot was not intended to portray motion, although that is a good idea. The concept is kind of like this... here is a man who is dedicated, preparing mentally, in his mind. this could even be a mental picture of himself, just before the show(bodybuilding) hiding in the dark, unsuspected anticipating that movement you mentioned, the chance for the hunter to pounce on the prey.

I do hope to see more of your work, and hope you will visit more of my work and let me know how you critique it in the future.

cheers
Jason
